As your child grows, we focus on prevention and education to ensure their smile remains healthy. Our goal is to help children learn and develop consistent oral hygiene habits.

During their regular six-month appointment, your child will experience a gentle and thorough cleaning to help prevent cavities and promote overall oral health.

When necessary, we use composite fillings with a tooth-colored resin to fill in cavities. As a result, fillings blend in naturally.

A plastic coating can be professionally applied to prevent cavities by sealing the chewing surfaces. Dental sealants are easy to apply and provide years of protection.

When a tooth has decay, disease, trauma, or may impede normal oral development, we perform necessary extractions of primary and permanent teeth when indicated.

Sedation options are based on your child's comfort and needs. We offer nitrous oxide, conscious sedation, and IV anesthesia on a case-by-case basis with a Board Certified Dental Anesthesiologist.

We also have privileges at multiple local hospitals to provide care in a hospital setting under general anesthesia.

We use a soft-tissue laser to create normal tongue function allowing a baby to latch and breastfeed efficiently. Proper function also promotes normal speech development, makes it possible for a child to self-cleanse the mouth during eating, allows adequate swallowing patterns, and provides for proper growth and development. We work closely with lactation consultants, pediatricians, and speech and language pathologists as a team approach towards improving tongue and lip function.

For all orthodontic treatments, your child will enjoy gunk-free digital impressions as we use the Itero® system to capture high-definition 3D images of their teeth.

Conventional orthodontic treatment involving standard braces (clear or metal) offers the most comprehensive approach to treating more complex issues ranging from crooked teeth to jaw and bite concerns.
