VIDEO: MEET THE DOCS

Dr.
Camille Horton

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Owner

“I opened our first practice in 2010 with a dream to offer pediatric dentistry in a small town in South Carolina. Kids and parents loved it more than I imagined. So much to my surprise and great joy, we now have three locations and seven dentists serving thousands of children in the upstate of South Carolina.”

Education

Dr. Horton is a nationally board-certified pediatric dentist (Diplomate member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry) as well as a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She received a B.A. from the College of Charleston, earning a double major in Chemistry and French. She continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina where she received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

Specialization

Eager to begin her career following dental school, Dr. Horton worked as a general dentist for two years but wanted a more specialized career involving children. She went on to earn her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Florida in 2010, where she was also chief resident.

Professional

Dr. Horton has received numerous academic and clinical excellence awards and has been recognized, most notably, for the John Meador Sneed Award for “A Genuine Love and Concern for Others: A Talent for Practical Accomplishment.” Her research project titled “Speech Changes Following Premature Extractions of Primary Incisors” was selected for publication in the July/August 2012 Pediatric Dentistry Journal, vol. 34, no.4, page 295.

Home Life

She loves spending time with her husband (Dr. Craig Horton – Prosthodontist) and her four children.  She is the Chapter advisor for Kappa Delta at Clemson University and volunteers with the Children's Ministry Board at Fort Hill Presbyterian Church. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and baking. (She aspires to be just like Ina Garten from Barefoot Contessa.) After spending a summer in the south of France and being completely immersed with a French family in Provence, she absolutely loves anything and everything French.

Dr.
Megan Millon

Dentist

Education

Dr. Megan Millon grew up in Easley, SC where she attended Christ Church Episcopal School. She earned a B.S. degree in Biology from Converse College in 2016 and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Residency

After dental school, Dr. Millon completed an Advanced Education General Dentistry Residency with East Carolina University where she graduated "with distinction". This is a high praise that only 2 out of 21 residents receive!  During Dr. Millon's residency, she received extensive clinical experience and training in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and pediatric dentistry.

Giving Back

Dr. Millon is enthusiastic about giving back to the community and helping others. She has participated in dental mission trips, worked with free dental clinics, and provided care for veterans with the Jackson County Veterans Service.

Home Life

She loves spending time with her husband and their 2 sweet rescue dogs. She also enjoys horseback riding, reading, traveling (visited 6 countries), live music, growing vegetables, and hiking.
