“I opened our first practice in 2010 with a dream to offer pediatric dentistry in a small town in South Carolina. Kids and parents loved it more than I imagined. So much to my surprise and great joy, we now have three locations and seven dentists serving thousands of children in the upstate of South Carolina.”
Dr. Horton is a nationally board-certified pediatric dentist (Diplomate member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry) as well as a Fellow of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She received a B.A. from the College of Charleston, earning a double major in Chemistry and French. She continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina where she received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Eager to begin her career following dental school, Dr. Horton worked as a general dentist for two years but wanted a more specialized career involving children. She went on to earn her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Florida in 2010, where she was also chief resident.
Dr. Horton has received numerous academic and clinical excellence awards and has been recognized, most notably, for the John Meador Sneed Award for “A Genuine Love and Concern for Others: A Talent for Practical Accomplishment.” Her research project titled “Speech Changes Following Premature Extractions of Primary Incisors” was selected for publication in the July/August 2012 Pediatric Dentistry Journal, vol. 34, no.4, page 295.
She loves spending time with her husband (Dr. Craig Horton – Prosthodontist) and her four children. She is the Chapter advisor for Kappa Delta at Clemson University and volunteers with the Children's Ministry Board at Fort Hill Presbyterian Church. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and baking. (She aspires to be just like Ina Garten from Barefoot Contessa.) After spending a summer in the south of France and being completely immersed with a French family in Provence, she absolutely loves anything and everything French.
Dr. Frye is a nationally board-certified pediatric dentist (Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry). He is originally from Greenville, SC and received a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University. He went on to attend dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Following dental school, Dr. Frye completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with the University of Florida. He then began working for the Indian Health Service in Taos, New Mexico. His experience working with the underserved children in New Mexico led him to pursue additional education in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Frye completed his pediatric dental residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital with a focus on behavior guidance, oral conscious sedation, IV sedation, hospital dentistry, and caring for medically compromised patients and patients with special needs.
After residency, Dr. Frye worked in North Carolina in a pediatric dentistry/orthodontic practice while also serving as adjunct faculty at the UNC Pediatric Dentistry Dept.
He loves spending time with his wife, Lauren, and their two sons, Charlie and Jack. He also enjoys rooting for Clemson University, traveling, and mountain biking.
Dr. Cole, DDS, MSD is a board eligible pediatric dentist from Buffalo, NY. He received a B.S. in biology from SUNY at Buffalo and his DDS from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. In dental school, he was fortunate to receive excellent educational and clinical experiences in pediatric dentistry, which led him to pursue it as a specialty.
He attended Virginia Commonwealth University to specialize in pediatric dentistry. There he received both a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and a Master of Science in Dentistry, while acting as chief resident during his second year of training.
Due to his interest in treating patients with special health care needs, he also completed the VA-LEND program (Virginia Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) and received a post baccalaureate certificate in disability leadership. This unique training allowed him to learn firsthand about the lived of families/caregivers of children with SHCN though a family mentorship experience.
During his training, Dr. Cole enjoyed dental outreach which led him to be involved in . multiple dental mission trips in the US and two international dental mission trips to provide free dental care. As a dental student he went to San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic. As a resident he went to Trelawney, Jamaica where he primarily treated children.
In 2017, Dr. Cole was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
He loves his Buffalo Bills and enjoys traveling, biking, hiking mountains, and running. He has completed several marathons and half marathons.
Dr. Keller grew up in Greenville, SC. She received a B.A. in Biology from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY and went on to complete her Doctor in Dental Medicine degree at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. Keller loves attending local and national dental education meetings to stay up to date on the best dental care for her patients. She also is a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, Greenville Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Special Care Dental Association.
After dental school, Dr. Keller completed a General Practice Residency at the University of North Carolina's Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) in Asheville, NC. She received extensive clinical training in pediatrics, special needs dental care, restorative dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, oral conscious sedation, and hospital dentistry.
Dr. Keller is passionate about health and education. As a Presidential Scholar at MUSC, she worked to improve access to healthcare for local children in underserved communities. She has volunteered to provide needed dental care to South Carolina communities through Give Kids a Smile and Dental Access Days. During her time as Chief Resident at MAHEC, she worked with the MAHEC Family Health community, speaking about dental care with educational focus groups for pregnant women.
Dr. Keller is currently working towards obtaining a board certification with the American Board of Special Care Dentistry.
She loves spending time with her husband (David Keller – band director at Greer High School) and their baby boy. She also enjoy gardening, refinishing furniture and antiques, cooking and baking, traveling, and everything Disney!
Dr. Megan Millon grew up in Easley, SC where she attended Christ Church Episcopal School. She earned a B.S. degree in Biology from Converse College in 2016 and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Medical University of South Carolina.
After dental school, Dr. Millon completed an Advanced Education General Dentistry Residency with East Carolina University where she graduated "with distinction". This is a high praise that only 2 out of 21 residents receive! During Dr. Millon's residency, she received extensive clinical experience and training in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Millon is enthusiastic about giving back to the community and helping others. She has participated in dental mission trips, worked with free dental clinics, and provided care for veterans with the Jackson County Veterans Service.
She loves spending time with her husband and their 2 sweet rescue dogs. She also enjoys horseback riding, reading, traveling (visited 6 countries), live music, growing vegetables, and hiking.
Dr. Caitlin is an orthodontist originally from a small town in southwestern Virginia. She attended the University of Virginia where she majored in Biology and Religious Studies. She went on to earn her dental degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.
She completed her specialized orthodontic training at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee and has been serving exclusively in pediatric dental offices for several years.
She loves spending time with her two nieces, Eliza and Clara. She also enjoys reading, cycling, and traveling to see live music and family.
Diane Piccioni, DDS is an orthodontist originally from Syracuse, NY. She attended Syracuse University where she received a B.S. in Biology. From there, she moved to Buffalo, NY and attended SUNY at Buffalo to study dentistry. Orthodontics captured her attention and treating the entire smile to create an ideal bite and smile quickly became her passion.
Dr. Piccioni completed her orthodontic residency program at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx where she worked closely with the oral surgery department on complex cases involving cleft palates, rare genetic syndromes, and orthognathic surgery. During residency, she attended lectures across the country on mini-implant mechanics, clear aligner therapy, airway considerations, as well as traditional bracket treatment. She is excited to see where the latest technological advances will bring the field of orthodontics.
Throughout college and dental school, Dr. Piccioni enjoyed volunteering with the Special Olympics. In college, she volunteered weekly with the Son-Rise Program, focused on improving interpersonal communication and comprehension in autistic children. She is enthusiastic about treating children and adults with special needs.
She loves all things Harry Potter and Taylor Swift. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, running, and reading. One of her life goals is to visit all of the Major League Baseball stadiums – 14 down, 16 to go!
